Disclosure
Our commercial disclosures, covering affiliate arrangements, sponsorship, paid placement and how any of it would be labelled on the page.
This page records every commercial relationship that could affect what appears on this site.
Current position
As of the date above, this site carries no affiliate links, no sponsored content, no paid placement, and no advertising. No company has paid to be included in, excluded from, or described differently in any page.
If that changes
Should any of the following begin, this page is updated first and the affected pages are labelled at the point of the link or claim, not only here:
- Affiliate links. Marked in the page where they appear, and carrying
rel="sponsored". - Sponsored or paid content. Labelled at the top of the page, before the content.
- Paid inclusion in a company profile. Not accepted. Inclusion is an editorial decision, and a payment to appear would make the profile worthless to the reader it is written for.
Independence
This site is an independent research publication. It is not a wholesaler, distributor, buying group or trade association, and it is not affiliated with any company that shares a similar name.
It also operates independently of any other website. No page here links to a related property for ranking purposes, and none is used to funnel readers toward a commercial site.
Why inclusion cannot be bought
A company profile exists to help a buyer decide whether to approach a supplier. A payment to appear in one, or to appear more favourably, destroys exactly the thing the page is for. So paid inclusion is not accepted at any price, and there is no arrangement under which a company can pay to change what a profile says about it.
The same reasoning rules out ratings and verification badges. A badge is worth something only if it cannot be bought, and the moment it can, every badge on the site becomes worthless including the ones that were earned.
What a company can ask for
A correction. If a profile is factually wrong or out of date, send the URL, the field, and a public source we can cite. That route is open to everyone and costs nothing, and it is the only route there is.
Links to sources
Outbound links to government pages, standards bodies, trade associations and company websites are editorial citations. They are not paid, not exchanged, and not reciprocal. Where a link were ever paid or exchanged it would carry rel="sponsored" and be labelled at the point of the link.
